Man Robs Antique Store in Summerland
Sheriff's Office Searching for Suspect

Santa Barbara Sheriff’s detectives investigating Tuesday’s robbery at an antique store in Summerland have released a computer composite sketch of a person of interest.
Just before eleven a.m. Tuesday morning, September, 27, 2011, a man entered the Summerland Antique Collective on 2100 block of Ortega Hill Road, showed a gun, and bound two female employees with duct tape before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and store merchandise.
The suspect was described as a black male, 6’2”- 6’4” tall, muscular build, late 20’s to early 30’s, wearing a long sleeve black shirt, and black jeans.
Shortly before the crime, another man had come into the store, but left before the second man arrived. The first man has not been connected to the incident, but Sheriff’s detectives consider him a person of interest.
That man is described as an Asian male, 5’5” tall, 140lbs, thick black hair, long sleeve black shirt with a Nike logo on the neck, and black pants. The Sheriff’s Office has created a computer composite sketch which is being released to the public. There is no composite sketch of the primary suspect.

Summerland - September 27th, 2011
Santa Barbara Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a robbery late this morning inside an antique store in Summerland.
At approximately 10:49am on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 2100 block of Ortega Hill Road in Summerland for a report of a robbery at the Summerland Antique Cooperative.
Sometime around 10:30am a man reportedly entered the store and threatened two female employees who he then bound with duct tape. The man stole an undisclosed amount of cash and some store merchandise before leaving through the front door.
The two women remained bound for about twenty minutes, until a customer walked into the store and discovered them lying on the floor. Neither victim appears to have suffered any serious physical injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6’2”- 6’4” tall, muscular build, late 20’s to early 30’s, wearing a long sleeve black shirt, and black jeans.
